Green tea leaves rolled into small pellets, which unfurl during brewing for a gentle, smooth, and slightly herbal flavour.
We're delighted to have discovered a local supply from Butterworth's & Son in Bury St Edmunds, teasmiths since the 19th century. (We don't get this tea in circular supply yet - but we hope to if we can recruit enough tea-drinkers. Butterworth's always try to give us as little packaging as possible.)
For best results, use 2g per 180ml water at 70 degrees and brew for 5 minutes.
Choose 125g in an aluminium tin or multiples of 100g packaged in a paper bag.
