Tub is a local refill service in Saffron Walden, Essex. We deliver cleaning products (for houses and humans) and other useful plastic-free things to CB10 and CB11 postcodes. It's a bit like a milk delivery: we'll bring you full bottles of the products you choose and take away your empties. Our aim is to help all of us reduce plastic waste and limit our impact on the planet, so we source products that are environmentally friendly and where possible we choose local options and suppliers who take back and reuse our large containers too.
New year, new stuff!
We've taken advantage of the Christmas break to add a few useful bits and pieces to our usual stock. Have a browse of the Household section for sustainable latex gloves, parcel tape, compostable bin bags and sponge cloths (and, of course, lockdown favourite loo roll) . . .
Tea-licious!
We have not one but two new tea options to try to brighten up this dreary month. Green Gunpowder leaves come rolled in small pellets which unfurl during brewing, releasing their delicate herbal flavour. Winter Blend is super pretty as well as super tasty, a black China tea with orange peel, cloves, cornflowers and winter spices, with seasonal hints of panettone.
We've also added reusable tea bags to the Tub shelves - so if you'd like to try loose tea but don't have the equipment or don't feel you have the time for the whole teapot shenanigans, these could be for you.
Bulk buy and save
Also new for January is the option to buy our Sesi cleaning refills in preloved 5l plastic canisters or bottles (which you can return for us to reuse again and again), saving 10%. We'll also save on delivery emissions, so buying in bulk should be good for the planet and well as for your purse.
First time? Don't forget to add one bottle deposit.
If you are buying refill liquids for the first time, you will need to add the £5 bottle deposit to your order. You only need to do this once, then we'll bring your next order in filled bottles and take away your empties.
